Don't Push It
Don't Push It is a Grand National-winning thoroughbred racehorse in England. Debut Don't Push It began his career on 5 December 2004 at Warwick in a National Hunt flat race, finishing third. 2005–06 season His first full season began at Market Rasen on 24 September 2005 where he won a National Hunt flat race. Shortly before Christmas, he had his first start over hurdles, which he also won. However, he did not run again that season. 2006–07 season Early the next season, he had his first race over fences. He was again victorious and, for the first time, was partnered by AP McCoy. He was beaten next time out at Cheltenham in a Novices Chase by Denman, who won by a length despite veering dramatically left handed. A month later, Don't Push It returned to the course to record another victory over fences. His next run was in February at Chepstow, where he won by 23 lengths. Old Vic (horse)
Old Vic (26 April 1986 – 21 February 2011) was a Thoroughbred racehorse who won the French Derby and the Irish Derby in 1989. After retiring from racing he went on to become a top national hunt sire. He was one of the first crop of foals by the influential sire Sadler's Wells. Racing career Old Vic made his racecourse debut in a maiden at Newmarket in September 1988 and finished sixth. He started once more as a two-year-old, winning a maiden at Haydock Park. He easily won the Burghclere Stakes at Newbury on his first race of 1989. He then stepped up in class for the Sandown Classic Trial. He faced only two opponents and won the race by four lengths. He followed this up with a win in the Chester Vase at the May meeting. Cheltenham Racecourse
Cheltenham Racecourse at Prestbury Park, near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, hosts National Hunt horse racing. The Arkle Challenge Trophy is a Grade 1 National Hunt steeplechase in Great Britain which is open to horses aged five years or older. It is run on the Old Course at Cheltenham, England, over a distance of about 2 miles (1 mile, 7 furlongs and 199 yards, or ), and during its running there are thirteen fences to be jumped. The race is for novice chasers, and takes place each year during the Cheltenham Festival in March. It is the leading minimum-distance chase for novices in the National Hunt calendar. Denman (17 April 2000 – 5 June 2018) was an Ireland, Irish-bred National Hunt racing, National Hunt racehorse sired by Presenting (horse), Presenting. Known as ''The Tank'', Denman was widely known for his great rivalry with Kauto Star for the Cheltenham Gold Cup. This large horse with a front-running style won the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 2008. Background Denman was a very dark-coated chestnut gelding, bred in County Cork by Colman O'Flynn, who also bred his Grade One winning full brother, Silverburn. He was sent to the 2004 Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale as a four-year-old but this proved fruitless when one of the vets present said that the young "store" (a horse gelded early and intended for jump racing) could benefit from a hobday operation on his windpipe to improve his breathing.
