Dominic Smith (footballer, Born 1996)
Dominic James Smith (born 9 February 1996) is an English born footballer who plays as a defender for Alfreton Town. A product of the Shrewsbury Town youth system, he is eligible to play for Wales, for whom he has represented at Under−19 and Under−21 level. Club career Smith joined the Shrewsbury Town youth system at the age of seven, and was allocated a squad number by manager Graham Turner in December 2012, making the match-day squad for the first time in a League One home match against Brentford where he was an unused substitute in a goalless draw at the New Meadow. He signed his first professional contract in February 2014, and spent most of the following season on loan at Conference North side Tamworth. He made his senior debut on 4 October, playing in a 2–2 draw away to Guiseley in which he was given a yellow card in the 74th minute. Wellington, Telford
Wellington is a market town in Telford and Wrekin, Shropshire, England. It is situated 4 miles (6 km) northwest of central Telford and 12 miles (19 km) east of Shrewsbury. The summit of The Wrekin lies 3 miles southwest of the town. The total town population of Wellington was 25,554 in 2011, making it by far the largest of the borough towns and the third largest town in Shropshire if counting it as its own town separate from Telford itself. New Meadow, also known as Montgomery Waters Meadow for sponsorship purposes, is a stadium situated on the southern outskirts of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, between the districts of Meole Brace and Sutton Farm, and close to the A5 road (Great Britain), A5. Paul Hurst
Paul Michael Hurst (born 25 September 1974) is an English football manager and former player who is the manager of club Grimsby Town. As a player, he was a defender from 1993 to 2008, notably playing his entire career at Rotherham United, bar a brief loan spell with Burton Albion in his final year as a player. After retiring from the playing side of the sport in 2008, he became joint manager with former teammate Rob Scott at Ilkeston Town, then Boston United, before joining Grimsby Town in 2011. In the 2015–16 National League, he led Grimsby to promotion via the play-offs. Hurst moved on to become manager of Shrewsbury Town in October 2016, and saved the club from relegation from League One in his first season, while taking them to the EFL Trophy and League One play-off finals in 2018. The English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. Founded in 1888 as the Football League, the league is the oldest such competition in the world. North Ferriby United
North Ferriby United Association Football Club was a semi-professional football club in North Ferriby, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. At the time of their demise they were members of the Northern Premier League and played at Grange Lane. Formed in 1934, North Ferriby reached the Northern Premier League in 2000, and were promoted to the league's Premier Division after winning Division One in the 2004–05 season. The club then won the Premier Division in 2012–13, thus earning promotion to the Conference North. In 2015, they beat Wrexham of the Conference Premier to win the 2014–15 FA Trophy.
