Domenico Bruschi
Domenico Bruschi (13 June 1840 – 19 October 1910) was an Italian painter and educator. Bruschi also designed tapestries, Renaissance revival wooden furniture, sculptures in stucco and stained glass windows. Bruschi served as the chair of Ornamentor at the Institute of Fine Arts in Rome, was made an official Academician of the Accademia di San Luca, and named Commandatore for his excellence in painting. Life and Work Domenico Bruschi was born in Perugia, Italy on 13 June 1840, the son of Anna Monti and Carlo Bruschi. He was a pupil of Silvestro Valeri at Accademia di Belle Arti di Perugia, and where in 1857, he painted the chapel of St. Joseph in the church of St. Peter. From the city of Perugia Bruschi was awarded the ''Pensionato Perugino'' which encouraged him to travel to Venice and to study in Florence. Arnold Böcklin
Arnold Böcklin (16 October 182716 January 1901) was a Swiss symbolist painter. Biography He was born in Basel. His father, Christian Frederick Böcklin (b. 1802), was descended from an old family of Schaffhausen, and engaged in the silk trade. His mother, Ursula Lippe, was a native of the same city. Arnold studied at the Düsseldorf academy under Schirmer, and became a friend of Anselm Feuerbach. He is associated with the Düsseldorf school of painting. Schirmer, who recognized in him a student of exceptional promise, sent him to Antwerp and Brussels, where he copied the works of Flemish and Dutch masters. Böcklin then went to Paris, worked at the Louvre, and painted several landscapes. After serving his time in the army, Böcklin set out for Rome in March 1850. Tito Moretti
Tito Moretti (Perugia, 1840–1913) was an Italian painter and manuscript illuminator. Biography He was the younger brother of Francesco Moretti, who had trained with Silvestro Valeri at the Academy of Fine Arts of Perugia. Tito also trained at the academy, and collaborated for over a decade with Francesco in painting enamel on glass. Tito later became academic of merit and professor of design at the Royal Technical School. Among his works are two large windows: one depicting a ''Pietà with Angels'' (1874, Cathedral) and the other a half-figure ''Madonna''. The Palazzo Montecitorio () is a palace in Rome and the seat of the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of the Italian Parliament. History The palace's name derives from the slight hill on which it is built, which was claimed to be the ''Mons Citatorius'', the hill created in the process of clearing the Campus Martius in Roman times. The building was originally designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini for the young Cardinal Ludovico Ludovisi, nephew of Pope Gregory XV. However, with the death of Gregory XV by 1623, work stopped, and was not restarted until the papacy of Pope Innocent XII (Antonio Pignatelli), when it was completed by the architect Carlo Fontana, who modified Bernini's plan with the addition of a bell gable above the main entrance. Via di Ripetta, also called Via Ripetta, is a street in the historic centre of Rome (Italy), in the rione Campo Marzio, that links Piazza del Popolo to Via del Clementino and, with other toponyms (Via della Scrofa, Via della Dogana Vecchia), reaches the church of Sant'Ivo alla Sapienza, on the back of Piazza Sant'Eustachio and close to the Pantheon.
