Dmitry Stepushkin
Dmitry Fyodorovich Stepushkin (russian: Дмитрий Фёдорович Стёпушкин; 3 September 1975 – 30 June 2022) was a Russian bobsledder who competed from 2000. He won three medals in the four-man event at the FIBT World Championships with two silvers ( 2005, 2008) and a bronze ( 2003). The 2006 Winter Olympics, officially the XX Olympic Winter Games ( it, XX Giochi olimpici invernali) and also known as Torino 2006, were a winter multi-sport event held from 10 to 26 February 2006 in Turin, Italy. This marked the second time Italy had hosted the Winter Olympics, the first being in 1956 in Cortina d'Ampezzo; Italy had also hosted the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome. Turin was selected as the host city for the 2006 Games in June 1999. The official motto of Torino 2006 was "Passion lives here".
