Dmitry Loginov
Dmitry Alekseyevich Loginov (russian: Дмитрий Алексеевич Логинов; born 2 February 2000) is a Russian snowboarder. He is a three-time world champion and a sevenfold junior world champion. Career Loginov was born in Divnogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Krai to a weightlifter and a female volleyball player. He had practised karate before switching to snowboarding when he was 10 or 11 years old. It was in the elementary school where he was discovered by future coach Aleksey Derevyagin. At the age of 15 he debuted in international competitions. Loginov won his first championships title at the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships 2019 in Utah in parallel giant slalom. He won another gold medal in parallel slalom, the first ever gold medal in that event for Russia. Sofia Valeryevna Nadyrshina (russian: София Валерьевна Надыршина; born 14 May 2003) is a Russian snowboarder. She is a world champion and a threefold junior world champion. On 9 January 2021, she won her first FIS World Cup title in Parallel Giant Slalom in Scuol. At the 2021 World Championships, Nadyrshina won two medals: silver in Parallel Giant Slalom and gold in Parallel Slalom. At the age of 17, she became the youngest World Champion in the latter discipline. Blue Mountain is an alpine ski resort in Ontario, Canada, just northwest of Collingwood. Scuol () is a municipality in the Engiadina Bassa/Val Müstair Region in the Swiss canton of Grisons. The official language in Scuol is Romansh.
