Sérigne M'Baye Gueye (; born 28 March 1978), better known by his stage name Disiz, (pronounced "This is", formerly Disiz la Peste and Disiz Peter Punk), is a French rapper and actor. Born to a Senegalese father and Belgian mother, he grew up listening to hip hop. He was a great fan of the French rap groups NTM and IAM. He was discovered by JoeyStarr, one of the members of the famous rap group NTM after listening to a sample tape named ''"Bête de bombe"''. Disiz has gained interest from the UK after his appearance on Channel 4's campaign: "Try life in another language". ''La Bande à Renaud'' is a series of two tribute albums to French singer Renaud, consisting of songs of his performed by various other artists. The albums were released in June and October 2014, respectively. ''La Bande à Renaud'' The initial album was released on Mercury / Universal Music containing 14 songs interpreted by 15 artists. The musical project was supervised by Renaud himself, assisted by Dominique Blanc-Francard and Alain Lanty. It reached the top of SNEP, the official French Albums Chart in its first week of release. There were two official released singles from the single. William Kalubi Mwamba (born 10 May 1992 in Kinshasa), better known by his stage name Damso (), is a Belgian- Congolese rapper, singer, and songwriter. He is popular in France, where all of his albums were certified at least platinum. Early life Kalubi was born in Kinshasa, Zaire (present-day Democratic Republic of the Congo). When he was nine years old, he and his family left the country because of the bloody armed conflict and moved to Belgium. They eventually settled in Matonge, a largely Congolese neighborhood in Ixelles, Brussels. William's mother is Rose Marthe. Education After completing secondary school, Damso's parents encouraged him to continue his studies, and he pursued a degree in marketing and psychology. Planète Rap is a French radio programme broadcast on Skyrock, hosted by Fred Musa. Background Planète Rap presents Rap and R'n'B artists, with live performances, freestyles, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, as well as mixes performed and chosen by the guest artists.
