''Discipline'' is the third album by the Norwegian death metal band Cadaver, but was released under the moniker Cadaver Inc. Cadaver (band)
Cadaver is a death metal band from Råde and Fredrikstad, Norway. The band had a brief venture in the early 1990s before splitting in 1993. Cadaver would eventually re-emerge as Cadaver Inc. in 1999 which consisted of only one founding member. For their next album, they fell back to using their original band name Cadaver and ended their activities in 2004, with their final live show in 2005. The band reformed in April 2019 and released their fifth album in 2020. History Anders Odden and Ole Bjerkebakke founded Cadaver in 1988. They were later joined by bassist René Jansen and in 1989 the trio released the "Abnormal Deformity" demo. A cadaver or corpse is a dead human body that is used by medical students, physicians and other scientists to study anatomy, identify disease sites, determine causes of death, and provide tissue to repair a defect in a living human being. Students in medical school study and dissect cadavers as a part of their education. Others who study cadavers include archaeologists and arts students. Carl-Michael Eide (born 24 July 1974) is a Norway, Norwegian black metal musician, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist. He is also known under stage names Aggressor, Czral and Exhurtum. Biography Carl-Michael Eide has played in various black metal and avant-garde metal bands. These include Ved Buens Ende, Aura Noir, Cadaver (band), Cadaver, Dødheimsgard, Satyricon (band), Satyricon, Ulver, Infernö and recently the jazz/rock band Virus (Norwegian band), Virus. His drumming is unusual in style, with very little repetition and a tendency to shy away from traditional drumming. His singing abilities are diverse. Other than usual harsh vocals in black metal, he uses a form of croon in the avant-garde metal bands Ved Buens Ende and Virus. Anders Odden
Anders Odden (born 20 December 1972) is a Norwegian musician. He is the co-founder and guitarist of the Norwegian death metal band Cadaver (1988–1993; 1999–present), and is the bass player for Norwegian black metal band Satyricon (2009–present). He is founder and guitarist of the old school black metal band ORDER and the industrial rock band Magenta. He played live guitar for Celtic Frost (2006–2007) and has had several guest appearances with bands such as The Young Gods and Ministry, among others. Personal life Anders was born in Stavanger. He moved to Fredrikstad and then to Råde sometime during his childhood, where he grew up without any TV and listened to his father's collection of classical music. Apollyon (musician)
Apollyon (born as Ole Jørgen Moe) is a black metal/thrash metal multi-instrumentalist, formerly associated with Dødheimsgard and Cadaver, now playing in Aura Noir and also Immortal after its reforming in 2006. He has done guest vocals on the Darkthrone albums '' Plaguewielder'' and ''Sardonic Wrath'', and also on Audiopain's EP ''1986'' (2000). He was a live guitarist for Gorgoroth from 2003 to 2004, and performed at Gorgoroth's now infamous Kraków gig in February 2004. In 2004 Apollyon participated in a live tribute to Quorthon of Bathory at the Hole in the Sky festival in Bergen, Norway. Apollyon played bass on all songs, and also did the vocals on the song ''Equimanthorn''. Darkthrone is a Norwegian extreme metal band from Kolbotn, Akershus. Formed in 1986 as a death metal band named Black Death, in 1991 Darkthrone embraced a black metal style influenced by Bathory and Celtic Frost and became one of the leading bands in the Norwegian black metal scene. Their first three black metal albums—''A Blaze in the Northern Sky'' (1992), ''Under a Funeral Moon'' (1993) and ''Transilvanian Hunger'' (1994)—are sometimes dubbed the "Unholy Trinity". Emperor is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1991, regarded as highly influential by critics and emerging black metal bands. Bård Guldvik "Faust" Eithun (born 21 April 1974) is a Norwegian drummer known primarily for his work with black metal band Emperor. In 1993, he was sentenced to 14 years in prison for murder. He has been out of prison since 2003. Education Eithun studied at the University of Oslo. Much has been learned about early music in Norway from physical artifacts found during archaeological digs. These include instruments such as the lur.
