Dr. Dirk-Achim Pajonk (born March 27, 1969) is a German physician and former athlete. Career Dirk Pajonk was eleven years a member of the German national team in the decathlon and started 04 for the TSV Bayer Leverkusen. In 1996 he took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta Atlanta ( ) is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state of Georgia. It is the seat of Fulton County, the most populous county in Georgia, but its territory falls in both Fulton and DeKalb counties. Decathlon
The decathlon is a combined event in Athletics (sport), athletics consisting of ten track and field events. The word "decathlon" was formed, in analogy to the word "pentathlon", from Greek language, Greek δέκα (''déka'', meaning "ten") and ἄθλος (''áthlos'', or ἄθλον, ''áthlon'', meaning "contest" or “prize”).
