Direktflyg, officially ''Svenska Direktflyg AB'', was a regional airline based in Stockholm, Sweden which operated services to seven domestic destinations. The company also served as an aircraft lessor, through its subsidiary Largus Aviation. History The airline was formed in 2000, to bring together Skyway Holding's regional carriers, Air Express, Highland Air and Airborne, into one consolidated operation, and started operations in October 2000. Airborne began in 1984 when it was known as Sundsvall Aero. Highland Air began in September 1995 and was acquired by Skyways in March 1997. Air Express was founded in 1986 and was purchased by Skyways from major shareholder Thomas Sjö in 1999. In April 2002 the airline rebranded as Direktflyg following acquisition by the Largus-Group. On 22 May 2012, parent company Skyways Express AB and sister airline City Airline AB filed for bankruptcy. As of January 2015, Direktflyg ceased to operate with its own fleet. Amapola Flyg is a passenger and cargo airline based in Stockholm, Sweden. It operates freight services on behalf of the Swedish Post Office, Jetpak and MiniLiner from Maastricht Aachen Airport and its main base at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. In April 2021, the airline will start flights in Finland from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport to Joensuu, on behalf of the Finnish State traffic authority Traficom. History The airline was established and started operations in 2004 to take over postal services previously operated by Falcon Air. Seinäjoki Airport ( fi, Seinäjoen lentoasema; ) is an airport in Ilmajoki, Finland, about south-southwest of Seinäjoki city centre. The airport has been operated since 2016 by Seinäjoen Lentoasema Oy (Seinäjoki Airport Ltd). Before that (from 1976 to 2016) it was operated by Rengonharju-säätiö (Rengonharju Foundation). Facilities The airport resides at an elevation of above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 14/32 with an asphalt surface measuring . Borlänge is a locality in Dalarna County, Sweden with 44,898 inhabitants as of 2020. It is the seat of the Borlänge Municipality with a total population of 51,604 inhabitants as of 2017. History Originally Borlänge was the name of a tiny village, and the first historical information about it is from 1390. The village was insignificant up until about 1870. In 1872 the construction of ''Domnarfvets Jernverk'', the ironworks of neighbouring village Domnarvet started. In 1875 a railway between Falun and Ludvika, via Borlänge was inaugurated. Dala Airport or Borlänge Airport is situated southeast of Borlänge, a city in the Dalarna province of Sweden. It is also 20 minutes from the city of Falun. History The airfield was built during the Second World War and was modernized in 1961. In mid 1960 the first civilian airlines arrived at Dala Airport. A new terminal building was completed in 1972 and Dala Airport AB took over the airport. The airfield was owned by the Swedish military until 2007. The all-time-high number of passengers was 210,000 in 1989. Until around 1992, airlines had monopoly per route, but prices were regulated with a fixed maximum price per seat kilometer. Oslo Airport ( no, Oslo lufthavn; ), alternatively referred to as Oslo Gardermoen Airport or simply Gardermoen, is the international airport serving Oslo, Norway, the capital and most populous city in the country.
