The Directorate of Securing Classified Information () is an agency of the Albanian government responsible for drafting policies and procedures for the provision of information classified as "state secret". Established based on law no. 8457, dated 11.2.1999 ''"On information classified as state secret"'' but later amended, the agency is a subordinate institution of the Prime Minister's Office. Overview The Directorate of Securing Classified Information (DSIK) was created by order no. 742, dated 14.2.2001 of the Prime Minister. Council Of Ministers (Albania)
The Council of Ministers () is the executive branch that constitutes the Government of Albania. The Council is led by the Prime Minister of Albania. The prime minister is nominated by the President from among those candidates, who enjoy majority support in the Parliament; the candidate is then chosen by the Parliament. In the absence of the prime minister, the Deputy Prime Minister takes over his functions. There are 19 other government members, serving as deputy prime ministers, government ministers or both; they are chosen by the prime minister and confirmed by the Parliament. Edi Rama (born Edvin Kristaq Rama, 4 July 1964) is an Albanian politician, painter, writer, former university lecturer, publicist and former basketball player, who has served as the 33rd and current Prime Minister of Albania since 2013 and chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania since 2005.
