Diogo Carlos Correia Amado (born 21 January 1990) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for U.D. Leiria. Club career Portugal Born in Lagos, Algarve, Amado joined Sporting CP's youth system at the age of 11. He made his senior debut in 2009–10, splitting the season between two third division clubs (both on loan), including farm team Real Sport Clube. In June, he was released. For 2010–11, Amado joined U.D. Leiria of the Primeira Liga, making his debut in the competition on 15 August in a 0–0 away draw against S.C. Lagos (; literally "lakes"; cel-x-proto, Lacobriga) is a city and municipality at the mouth of Bensafrim River and along the Atlantic Ocean, in the Barlavento region of the Algarve, in southern Portugal. José Semedo (footballer, Born 1985)
José Vítor Moreira Semedo (born 11 January 1985) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He spent most of his career in England, playing for a whole decade with Charlton Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday of the Football League. Club career Sporting CP A product of Sporting CP's youth system, Semedo was born in Setúbal and made his professional debut with modest Casa Pia AC, in the Lisbon area. In the 2005–06 season he served another loan stint, now with C.D. Feirense of the Segunda Liga. Semedo was loaned again for the 2006–07 campaign, moving to Serie A's Cagliari Calcio. David Ronald Jones (born 17 August 1956) is an English former footballer and manager who was most recently the manager of Hartlepool United. Jones played for Everton, Coventry and Preston North End as a defender. In 1995, he became the manager of Stockport County, guiding the team to a League Cup semi-final and automatic promotion to the second tier of English football in 1997. He left Stockport to become the manager of Southampton in the Premier League, where he stayed for over 100 games until he was suspended by the club in January 2000 after his arrest on charges of child abuse. When the case came to court the judge recorded a not guilty verdict. Jones later spoke of his bitterness about the handling of the case and claimed it was the cause of his father's death, who had died shortly after the allegations became public. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Organised and supervised by the Liga Portugal, it is contested by 18 teams since the 2014–15 season, with the three lowest placed teams relegated to the Liga Portugal 2 and replaced by the top-three non-reserve teams from this division. The 2010–11 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga ZON Sagres for sponsorship reasons) was the 77th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. It began on 15 August 2010 and ended on 14 May 2011. A total of 16 teams contested the league, 14 of which already took part in the previous season and two of which were promoted from the Liga de Honra. Benfica were the defending champions but finished runners-up to Porto, who won their 25th league title in the club's first-ever unbeaten season. Porto's forward Hulk was the top scorer with 23 goals. Teams Belenenses and Leixões were relegated at the end of the 2009–10 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table.
