Diogo Carlos Correia Amado (born 21 January 1990) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for U.D. Leiria. Club career Portugal Born in Lagos, Algarve, Amado joined Sporting CP's youth system at the age of 11. He made his senior debut in 2009–10, splitting the season between two third division clubs (both on loan), including farm team Real Sport Clube. In June, he was released. For 2010–11, Amado joined U.D. Leiria of the Primeira Liga, making his debut in the competition on 15 August in a 0–0 away draw against S.C. José Vítor Moreira Semedo (born 11 January 1985) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He spent most of his career in England, playing for a whole decade with Charlton Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday of the Football League. David Ronald Jones (born 17 August 1956) is an English former footballer and manager who was most recently the manager of Hartlepool United. Jones played for Everton, Coventry and Preston North End as a defender. In 1995, he became the manager of Stockport County, guiding the team to a League Cup semi-final and automatic promotion to the second tier of English football in 1997. He left Stockport to become the manager of Southampton in the Premier League, where he stayed for over 100 games until he was suspended by the club in January 2000 after his arrest on charges of child abuse. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. The 2010–11 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga ZON Sagres for sponsorship reasons) was the 77th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. It began on 15 August 2010 and ended on 14 May 2011. A total of 16 teams contested the league, 14 of which already took part in the previous season and two of which were promoted from the Liga de Honra.
