Burhan Genç Koç (), known as Burhan G (born 20 January 1983), is a Danish R&B and pop singer, songwriter and producer. He has released three albums including '' Burhan G'' in 2010 and ''Din for evigt'', both certified platinum in Denmark. Hit singles include the five number one hits " Mest ondt" featuring Medina, "Tættere på himlen" featuring Nik & Jay, "Din for evigt", "Kalder mig hjem" and "Karma" featuring L.O.C. Beginnings Burhan Genç is of Kurdish origin. His parents are from Haymana, Turkey. He lived in Brøndby Strand (Copenhagen County) 13 kilometers south-west of central Copenhagen and sang in the "Københavns Drengekor" (Copenhagen Boys Choir) as a solo soprano. Burhan G (album)
''Burhan G'' is the third studio album from the Danish R&B singer Burhan G which was released on 12 April 2010 at Copenhagen Records. This is however his first Danish language album after two all-English language albums ''Playground'' in 2004 and ''Breakout'' in 2007. The album Burhan G was developed with the collaboration of Rasmus Seebach and Nik & Jay and producers Jon & Jules (Jon Andersson Ørom and Johannes Jules Wolfson) of Nexus. The album reached #2 in the Danish Albums Chart making it the most successful album thus far of Burhan G. The album's first single, "Kun dig" (translated as "Only You") came in late May 2008. The second single "Jeg vil ha' dig for mig selv" (translated as "I Want You for Myself") followed in June 2009. It was written in collaboration with Rasmus Seebach, and samples Milli Vanilli's 1988 hit "Girl You Know It's True". Parts of the lyrics are taken from Nik & Jay's "I Love Ya". Lars Ankerstjerne Christensen, better known as Ankerstjerne (born on 15 August 1984), is a Danish rapper and songwriter from Hundige. From 2007 to 2010, the rapper was known as Jinks, but returned to using his birth name Lars Ankerstjerne with the release of his self-titled album ''Ankerstjerne''. Jinks Lars Ankerstjerne debuted in 2007 under the pseudonym Jinks signed on Nexus Music record label. Shaka Loveless Grøn (born 5 March 1984) is a Danish rapper and singer with reggae roots. He is also a lead vocalist for the Danish hip-hop / R&B band The Gypsies (earlier known as The Electric Gypsies with a more rock-oriented sound).
