Diggins, Missouri
Diggins is a village in southeastern Webster County, Missouri, United States. The population was 299 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Springfield, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. History Diggins was laid out in 1887, and named after one Mr. Diggins, a railroad official. The site was previously known as Cut Throat, Stella and Livingston. A post office called Diggins has been in operation since 1886. Geography Diggins is located on the southeastern edge of the Springfield Plateau in the Ozarks of south central Missouri. The village is located along U.S. Route 60 between Fordland, four miles to the west and Seymour, four miles to the east.
