Dick Laan
Dick Laan (18 December 1894, Wormerveer – 6 October 1973, Heemstede) was a Dutch children's writer and film pioneer. He is best known for his Pinkeltje series. Early career Laan was the son of Jan Cornelis Laan and the grandson of Teunis Crok, the founders of the oil and fat processing company "Crok & Laan" (since 1971 part of Unilever).History of Crok & Laan

Louisa Johanna Theodora van Dort (born May 16, 1943 in Surabaya, Dutch East Indies) is a Dutch actress, comedian, singer, writer and artist of Indo (Eurasian) descent. On April 29, 1999, Queen Beatrix appointed her ''Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau''. She has appeared on many children's television programs and is best known for her Indo (Dutch-Indonesian) character of Tante Lien in ''The Late Late Lien Show'' on Dutch prime time television. Her show was the only television programme ever to showcase Indo (Eurasian) culture and introduced many Indo artists and music to mainstream audiences in the Netherlands. Aart Staartjes (1 March 1938 – 12 January 2020) was a Dutch actor, director, television presenter and documentary maker from Amsterdam. He was well known for his role on ''Sesamstraat'', the Dutch co-production of ''Sesame Street''. On this show, his character's name was ''Meneer Aart'' (Mr. Aart) and in this persona he authored a book called (Mr. Aart: Life and work of the man who does not want to be named a friend to children). Harrie Geelen
Harrie Geelen (born 10 January 1939, in Heerlen) is a Dutch illustrator, film director, animator, translator, writer and poet. In 2014, he was made a knight in the Order of the Dutch Lion ("Ridder in de orde van de Nederlandse Leeuw"). He studied Dutch in Amsterdam, where he met his wife Imme Dros, like himself a writer of Dutch children's literature. Geelen wrote several well known television children's programs and translated Disney movies into Dutch. He illustrated his own books and those of his wife Imme Dros, some books by Annie M. G. Schmidt and a book by Toon Tellegen. He published the novel "Het Nijlpaard Ellende" and short stories like "Ooms en Tantes, Tantes en Ooms".
