''Diante do Trono'' is the first album in the live praise and worship series of contemporary worship music by Diante do Trono. About the Project In 1995, the pastor Márcio Valadão, father of Ana Paula and Sérgio Gomes, conductor of the Church, decided to make a record, whose income would serve to combat child prostitution that they saw on a trip to India. In 1997 the city of Belo Horizonte, in the Lagoinha Baptist Church, under the leadership of Ana Paula Valadão is formed a group of praise and worship, which until then had no name. In 1998 a group of musicians from the Lagoinha Baptist Church, in Belo Horizonte, met to record the songs sung in the community. Diante do Trono (; lit.: Before the Throne) is a Brazilian contemporary Christian music band formed in 1997 as a ministry of Lagoinha Church in Belo Horizonte. It is led by singer, songwriter and pastor Ana Paula Valadão. The group became popular in Brazil since the release of their first album in 1998: '' Diante do Trono''. However, it was from the ''Águas Purificadoras'' and '' Preciso de Ti'' albums that it acquired international recognition, becoming the largest worship ministry in Latin America and one of the world's largest ministries of praise, worship and mission. It is also considered one of the most successful bands in Brazilian music. Darlene Joyce Zschech (; née Steinhardt on 8 September 1965) is an Australian Pentecostal Christian worship leader and singer-songwriter who primarily writes praise and worship songs. Described as a pioneer of the modern worship movement, she is the former worship pastor of Hillsong Church and currently a member of Compassionart, a charity founded by Martin Smith. Dennis Jernigan
Dennis Jernigan is a singer-songwriter of contemporary Christian music. He is native to Oklahoma, and headquarters a music-based Christian ministry from there. Jernigan now lives in Muskogee, Oklahoma, with his wife and their nine children. Jernigan is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University. André Machado Valadão (born 16 April 1978) is a Brazilian Christian singer, songwriter, worship pastor and television presenter. Biography He was part of the successful band Diante do Trono, led by his sister Ana Paula Valadão, starting in 1998. Lagoinha Baptist Church (''Igreja Batista da Lagoinha'') is a charismatic Baptist Evangelical multi-site megachurch located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais in Brazil.
