Diane Gabrielle Damas - Musée des Beaux Arts d'Agen Diane Gabrielle Damas (1656–1715) was a French aristocrat. A daughter of Claude Leonor Damas, Marquis of Thianges and Gabrielle de Rochechouart,sister of Madame de Montespan she married Philippe Jules Mancini, Duke of Nevers, she was the unofficial lover of king Louis XIV of France in 1676, and was repeatedly the object of rumours of a love affair with the king between 1671 and 1681. Philippe Jules Mancini, 8th Duke of Nevers (1641–1707) was the nephew of Cardinal Mazarin, chief minister of France immediately after the death of King Louis XIII. He was the brother of the five famous Mancini sisters, who, along with two of their female Martinozzi cousins, were known at the court of King Louis XIV of France as the Mazarinettes. Family Philippe was born in Rome in 1641. He was the son of Baron Lorenzo Mancini family, Mancini, an Italian aristocrat who was also a Necromancy, necromancer and Astrology, astrologer.
