Diana Hopeson
Diana Hopeson (also known as Diana Botchway) is Ghanaian gospel singer and a former president of the Musicians Union of Ghana. In 2021 she was selected by BJ Sam the Nigerian international singer and producer to represent Ghana in the first universal Christmas music project with other global music icons including Hollywood Actor Paul Raci, Bollywood payback singer Jaspinder Narula, Swiss actress Christina Zurbrügg Her contributions to the Ghanaian Art industry won her a National Honors Award, which was presented to her by former president John Agyekum Kufuor in 2007. In March 2021, she was among the Top 30 Most Influential Women in Music by the 3Music Awards Women's Brunch. The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) is a public co-educational university spread over four campuses (Accra, Tema, Kumasi and Takoradi) and made up of six schools, ten research centers located at Greenhill in Accra, Ghana. The location of GIMPA, Greenhill, was named by Nicholas T. Clerk (1930 – 2012) who served as the Rector of the Institute from 1977 to 1982. Musicians Union Of Ghana
The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) is an umbrella group that unites all musicians in Ghana irrespective of life music genre. Bice Osei Kuffour was the former president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA). He was elected on August 18, 2011, in Tamale in the Northern Region of the country. The other candidates were Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, Nana Tuffour and Willi Roi. Before that Diana Hopeson served as the MUSIGA president from 2007 to 2011 Controversy In 2019, the union was dragged to court by Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi who served as the Accra Regional Chairman of MUSIGA, alleged some irregularities concerning the election process.
