''Diamond Dreams'' is an EP by American nu metalcore band Issues released on November 18, 2014. Background This version of The Worst of Them was released as a music video in late 2012 while Case Snedecor was still their drummer and Jake Vinston was their bassist. In anticipation of the new EP, the band released the following statement: “We had a lot of fun making this record, being able to reimagine songs and show that we aren’t just metalcore kids, or whatever you wanna call us. Issues (band)
Issues is an American metalcore band based in Atlanta, Georgia, founded in 2012. The band currently consists of guitarist and vocalist AJ Rebollo, bassist and vocalist Skyler Acord, and drummer Josh Manuel. They are known for their combination of metalcore, nu metal, pop and contemporary R&B. Following original member Michael Bohn and Tyler Carter's departure from Woe, Is Me, the duo formed Issues with keyboardist Ben Ferris, bassist Cory Ferris, guitarist AJ Rebollo, and drummer Case Snedecor, subsequently signing to Rise Records. The Ferris brothers departed from the group prior to the release of the '' Black Diamonds'' EP, in 2012. Snedecor left the band in 2013 and was replaced by drummer Josh Manuel while Ben and Cory Ferris were replaced by keyboardist and disc jockey Tyler Acord and bassist Skyler Acord, respectively. Acoustic Music
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. Released on February 18, 2014 on Rise Records, the album debuted at number 9 on the ''Billboard'' 200, selling over 22,000 copies in its first week. The album was produced by Kris Crummett, Matt Malpass, and the group's keyboardist and disc jockey Tyler "Scout" Acord. Background and recording The album's initial release was originally in November 2013, however had been pushed back to February 2014. It is the band's first release with current drummer Josh Manuel after Case Snedecor's departure in early 2013. The band released a teaser for the track, "Stingray Affliction" on November 19, 2013. Headspace (Issues Album)
''Headspace'' is the second full-length studio album by American metalcore band Issues. Released on May 20, 2016 on Rise Records, the band recruited Kris Crummett once more to produce the album. It is their final studio album to feature original member and co-vocalist Michael Bohn before his departure in January 2018, and is their first release since the departure of keyboardist and disc jockey Tyler "Scout" Acord. Despite this, Acord performs synthesizers and production on the album, and appears in the music video for its first single "The Realest". The album showcases the group's experimental approach to their signature metalcore-contemporary R&B hybrid sound, exploring elements of nu metal, pop, hip hop and funk. The album was supported by three singles; "The Realest", "COMA" and "Home Soon". In support of the album, the group toured with Volumes, from September to November 2017. Nu Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming. Neck Deep
Neck Deep are a Welsh pop punk band from Wrexham, Wales formed in 2012. Founded after vocalist Ben Barlow met former lead guitarist Lloyd Roberts, the pair posted a song ("What Did You Expect?") online under the name Neck Deep. The song soon gained attention online, resulting in the addition of rhythm guitarist Matt West, drummer Dani Washington/Abasi, and bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans. They released a pair of EPs, ''Rain in July'' (2012) and ''A History of Bad Decisions'' (2013), both recorded by Barlow's older brother, before signing with Hopeless in August 2013. Andrea Landis, commonly known by her stage name Nylo, is an American singer, songwriter, musician and record producer from Chicago, Illinois. Life and career Landis was born and raised in Chicago. She began singing after being influenced by the singers at her Methodist church, and was also inspired by her father's liking of singers Stevie Nicks, Whitney Houston and Madonna. She learned piano at church, and received her first piano at age 16. When her parents divorced, Landis moved with her mother to Texas, and she dropped out of high school before her senior year. She began performing open mic shows, while also learning music production with the digital audio workstation Reason. She began shadowing at a studio after someone found her at an open mic show and wanted to record some of her material.
