Dhaka International Trade Fair
Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) ( bn, ঢাকা আন্তর্জাতিক বাণিজ্য মেলা) is an international trade fair in Bangladesh. It is organized by the Export Promotion Bureau together with the Ministry of Commerce of the Government of Bangladesh. DITF is held from the first week of January to the first week of February every year. The entrance fee is less than $1 USD and it is open from 10 am to 10 pm every day. Ever since the first fair was inaugurated on 1 December 1995, DITF has been held annually at Sher-E-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka on the west side of Bangabandhu International Conference Centre. Starting at the 1st of January 2022 the fair is holding at Bangabandhu Bangladesh–China Friendship Exhibition Center in the capital's Purbachal area. Sher-e-Bangla Nagor Thana
Sher-e-Bangla Nagar ( bn, শেরেবাংলা নগর; lit. ''City of the Tiger of Bengal'') is a neighborhood and a thana of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is also known as the 'capitol within the capital' due to it being the home to the National Parliament and Ganabhaban. The area was named after A. K. Fazlul Huq, a renowned statesman and one of the most prominent political figures of Bangladesh who was popularly known as "Sher-e-Bangla" (''Tiger of Bengal''). Bangabandhu Bangladesh–China Friendship Exhibition Center
Bangabandhu Bangladesh–China Friendship Exhibition Center is an international product exhibition facility located in Rupganj, Narayanganj. The facility has been set up in Purbachal near Dhaka metropolis. Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the installation on October 21, 2021. It is the venue of Dhaka International Trade Fair. It was decided to hold the trade fair here on January 1, 2022 and was held. History In 2015, Bangladesh Export Promotion Bureau started its construction project. The project was undertaken with the aim of setting up an international quality product display center in the new city project area. Purbachal Residential Model Town
Purbachal New Town Project or formerly Purbachal Residential Model Town is the biggest planned township in Bangladesh. The project area consists of about 6,227 acres (25 square kilometer) land located in between the Shitalakhya and the Balu River at Rupgonj thana of Narayanganj District and at Kaligonj Thana of Gazipur District, in the northeastern side of Dhaka. The Township will be linked with twelve-lane expressway from the Airport Road/Pragati swarani crossing. The distance is only 6.8 km. There will be provision of about 26,000 residential plots of different sizes, 62,000 apartments with all necessary infrastructure and urban facilities.
