Devilish Impressions
Devilish Impressions is a Polish avant-garde black metal band. Considered one of Poland's leading metal acts Devilish Impressions officially started in 2000 as a three-piece, with founding singer / guitarist Quazarre the only remaining original member. Squeezing a unique dimension of brutality and catchiness into their music the band keeps pushing boundaries further out with each consecutive release. Plurima Mortis Imago
''Plurima Mortis Imago'' is the debut album by the Polish avant-garde black metal band Devilish Impressions. The band was able to recruit Dragor to do the drums and Adrian Nefarious to play the bass guitar, both members of Luna Ad Noctum. The title is taken from the Latin poet Virgil, ''Aeneid'' 2.369. The musical arrangements were far better than their demo and they decided to record the instruments at different studios. The drums and guitars were recorded at ''Mamut Studio'' by Maciek Mularczyk and Wojtek Nowak. And all the synths and vocals at ''Hendrix Studios'', Lublin by Arek "Malta" Malczewski. A man well known for his long-time relationship with Behemoth. Enslaved (band)
Enslaved is a Norwegian extreme metal band formed by Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson in Haugesund in June 1991. They are currently based in Bergen. The band's lineup has changed many times over the years, and Bjørnson and Kjellson have been the sole constant members. The current lineup also includes lead guitarist Arve Isdal, keyboardist/singer Håkon Vinje, and drummer Iver Sandøy. The band's music draws heavily on the Viking cultural and religious heritage of their home country of Norway for inspiration, and most of the band's lyrics relate to Norse mythology. Samael is a Swiss extreme metal band formed in 1987 in Sion. The current line up of the band include founding members and brothers Vorphalack (Vorph) and Xytraguptor (Xy), guitarist Drop and bassist Ales. A few other members have been part of the band throughout the years: Rodolph H. (keyboards, 1993–1995), Kaos (guitar, 1996–2001), Mas (bass, 1991–2014) and Makro (guitar, 2002–2018). Tristania was a Norwegian gothic metal band formed in 1996 by Morten Veland, Einar Moen and Kenneth Olsson. Tristania's music is usually classified as Gothic metal with death influences, due to its strong tie and legacy within the gothic metal history. Overkill (band)
Overkill is an American thrash metal band, formed in 1980 in New Jersey. They have gone through many lineup changes, leaving bassist D.D. Verni and lead vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth as the only constant members. In addition to Verni and Ellsworth, Overkill's current lineup includes Dave Linsk on lead guitar, Derek Tailer on rhythm guitar and Jason Bittner on drums. Vader (band)
Vader is a Polish death metal band from Olsztyn. Formed in 1983, the group was founded by then-bassist Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek and guitarist Zbigniew "Vika" Wróblewski. Vader went through several lineup changes over the years, with Wiwczarek as the only constant member.
