Devante Rodney
Devante Darrius Rodney (born 19 May 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Rochdale. He spent his youth at the academies at Manchester City and Sheffield Wednesday before signing with Hartlepool United in January 2017. Four months later, he made his senior debut and established himself in the first team in the 2017–18 season. He was sold to Salford City in June 2018. However, he spent the second half of the 2018–19 season on loan at National League rivals FC Halifax Town, before returning to Salford to help the club to win promotion into the English Football League with victory in the 2019 play-off final. He spent much of the 2019–20 season on loan at Stockport County and FC Halifax Town. He signed with Port Vale in July 2020 and finished as the top-scorer for the 2020–21 campaign before joining Walsall for an undisclosed fee in January 2022. He transferred to Rochdale in June 2022. The English Football League Two (often referred to as League Two for short or Sky Bet League Two for sponsorship purposes, and known as the Football League Two from 2004 until 2016) is the third and lowest division of the English Football League (EFL) and fourth-highest division overall in the English football league system. In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Leagues that use promotion and relegation systems are often called open leagues. In a system of promotion and relegation, the best-ranked team(s) in the lower division are ''promoted'' to the higher division for the next season, and the worst-ranked team(s) in the higher division are ''relegated'' to the lower division for the next season. In some leagues, playoffs or qualifying rounds are also used to determine rankings. This process can continue through several levels of divisions, with teams being exchanged between adjacent divisions. Victoria Park is a football ground in Hartlepool, County Durham, England, which is the home of League Two club Hartlepool United. The four sides of the ground are known as the Town End Terrace (official capacity 1,775), the Niramax Stand (official capacity 1,617 seated and 1,832 terraced standing), the Cyril Knowles Stand (official capacity 1,599) and the Rink End (official capacity 1,033). The Town End Terrace is a standing area behind the south goal, and usually the most vocal area of the ground. David Ronald Jones (born 17 August 1956) is an English former footballer and manager who was most recently the manager of Hartlepool United. Jones played for Everton, Coventry and Preston North End as a defender. In 1995, he became the manager of Stockport County, guiding the team to a League Cup semi-final and automatic promotion to the second tier of English football in 1997. He left Stockport to become the manager of Southampton in the Premier League, where he stayed for over 100 games until he was suspended by the club in January 2000 after his arrest on charges of child abuse. Pádraig Amond (born 15 April 1988) is an Irish professional footballer who plays as a striker for National League club Woking. He began his career in his native Ireland with Shamrock Rovers, progressing through the club's youth academy before making his first-team debut in 2006.
