Derek Holmes (born 18 October 1978) is a Scottish former professional association football, footballer, who played for Heart of Midlothian F.C., Heart of Midlothian, Cowdenbeath F.C., Cowdenbeath, Raith Rovers F.C., Raith Rovers, Ross County F.C., Ross County, AFC Bournemouth, Carlisle United F.C., Carlisle United, Rotherham United F.C., Rotherham United, St Johnstone F.C., St Johnstone, Queen of the South F.C., Queen of the South, Airdrieonians F.C., Airdrie United, Arbroath F.C., Arbroath and East Fife F.C., East Fife. Lanark
Lanark (; gd, Lannraig ; sco, Lanrik) is a town in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, located 20 kilometres to the south-east of Hamilton. Victoria Park, also known as the Global Energy Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is an all-seater football stadium in the town of Dingwall, Highland, Scotland. It is the home ground of Ross County, who currently play in the Scottish Premiership. History Victoria Park has a greater capacity than the population of Dingwall, which was 5,491 at the 2011 census. However the County of Ross and Cromarty from which the club draws much of its support has a population of over 60,000. David Lilley
David William Lilley (born 31 October 1977 in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire) is a Scottish former professional footballer who usually plays at centre back but has also played at right back. Lilley was most recently the manager of Bellshill Athletic in the Scottish Junior Football Association, West Region. Lilley spent a decade in the SPL with Aberdeen, Partick Thistle and Kilmarnock, where he was the club captain, before moving on to captain both Queen of the South and Airdrie United. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the ''Chelmsford Chronicle''.
