Darkənd
Darkənd (also, Dər, Dar, and Der) is a village and municipality in the Ordubad District of Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan. It is located in the south of the Ordubad-Nakhchivan highway, 15 km in the south-west from the district center, on the right bank of the Gilanchay River. Its population is busy with gardening, vegetable-growing, animal husbandry. There are secondary school and a medical center in the village. It has a population of 500. The ruins of the historical and architectural monuments is in the territory of the village. The tomb, the mosque's minaret, etc. is attracting attention. Dearborn (Amtrak Station)
The John D. Dingell Transit Center is an intermodal transit station in Dearborn, Michigan. It is served by Amtrak's ''Wolverine'' line as well as Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) buses. The station is named after former U.S. Representative John Dingell. Description The station is located at 21201 Michigan Avenue (US Highway 12). The red brick and glass-faced structure includes a two-story waiting hall, which includes an elevated glass-enclosed pedestrian bridge which allows access to the south platform. There is also a small retail space within the station. History The station was established in 1978 with the goal of Detroit's western suburban residents' access to passenger trains. Der ( Sumerian: ALUDi-e-ir , 𒌷𒂦𒀭𒆠 uruBAD3.ANki) was a Sumerian city-state at the site of modern Tell Aqar near al-Badra in Iraq's Wasit Governorate. It was east of the Tigris River on the border between Sumer and Elam. Its name was possibly Durum. History Der was occupied from the Early Dynastic period through Neo-Assyrian times. The local deity of the city was named Ishtaran, represented on Earth by his minister, the snake god Nirah. In the late 3rd millennium, during the reign of Sulgi of the Third Dynasty of Ur, Der was mentioned twice. D'Entrecasteaux Ridge
The d'Entrecasteaux () Ridge (DER) is a double oceanic ridge in the south-west Pacific Ocean, north of New Caledonia and west of Vanuatu Islands. It forms the northern extension of the New Caledonia– Loyalty Islands arc, and is now actively subducting under the Vanuatu/New Hebrides arc. The subduction of the DER is responsible for the anomalous morphology of the central part of New Hebrides arc whose movement more closely matches the north-east direction of the subducting Australian Plate (the rest of the New Hebrides arc rotate west in front of the southward expanding North Fiji Basin). Radio Rentals was formed in 1930Radio Rentals Staff Handbook in Brighton, Sussex, UK to rent out radio sets by Percy Perring-Thoms with a turnover in the first year of £780 ().
