Deportivo Merlo
Club Social y Deportivo Merlo (usually known simply as Deportivo Merlo) is a argentinean football club located in Merlo, Buenos Aires. The team currently plays in Primera B Metropolitana, the third division of the Argentine football league system. History The club was founded on October 8, 1954, as "9 de Julio". Two years later the team debuted at Primera D (then named "Aficionados") of Argentine Football Association. In 1968 the name changed to "Deportivo Merlo" which has remained to date. One year later the institution acquired the land where its stadium was built. In 1968 the Association announced that clubs without stadium or active members would be disaffiliated. Due to that announcement, a group of young fans of Deportivo Merlo requested the Association a 4-month period of grace to build a stadium and to get new members with the purpose of avoiding the disappearance of the institution. Estadio José Manuel Moreno is a multi-purpose stadium in Merlo Partido, Argentina. It is currently used primarily for football (soccer), football matches and hosts the home matches of Primera B Nacional Argentina club, Club Social y Deportivo Merlo. Charro
Charro has several meanings, but it generally refers to Mexican horse riders, who maintain traditional dress, such as some form of sombrero, which in Mexican Spanish are called ''sombrero de charro'' (a charro's hat). Emiliano Ariel Dudar (born 12 August 1981) is a retired Argentine central defender. Career Born in Buenos Aires, Dudar began his career in the youth ranks of Velez Sarsfield and made his First Division debut in 2000. During his debut season he was named Rookie of the Year by the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino. In over four years at the Buenos Aires club, he made 63 appearances and scored 5 goals. For the 2003–04 season he was loaned out to Independiente and was a regular starter appearing in 19 matches and scoring one goal. Facundo Ferrero (born 5 March 1995) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Sarmiento. Career Club Ferrero's career began in 2012 with Primera B Nacional team Deportivo Merlo, he appeared on the club's substitutes bench throughout 2012–13 in matches against Almirante Brown, Gimnasia y Esgrima and Rosario Central but was unused; Merlo were relegated in that season to Primera B Metropolitana. A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any).
