Denis Vavro
Denis Vavro (born 10 April 1996) is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Copenhagen of the Danish Superliga and the Slovakia national team. Club career Žilina Vavro made his debut for MŠK Žilina against AS Trenčín on 20 April 2013. Copenhagen On 26 August 2017, Denis Vavro signed a five-year contract with Danish Superliga champions Copenhagen. Lazio On 4 July 2019, Vavro moved to Serie A team S.S. Lazio for a reported transfer fee of €10 million. Loan to Huesca On 1 February 2021, Vavro moved to La Liga club Huesca, on a loan deal until the end of the season. Return to Copenhagen On 24 January 2022, he returned to Copenhagen on loan with an option to buy. Partizánske
Partizánske (, meaning “partisan town” formerly: ''Baťovany'', hu, Simony) is a town in Trenčín Region, Slovakia. Geography Partizánske is located in the northern part of the Danubian Hills around from Nitra and from the capital Bratislava, at the confluence of the Nitra and Nitrica rivers, near the Tribeč mountains. History Partizánske is a relatively young town. Its history starts in 1938–1939, when Jan Antonín Baťa of Zlín and his powerful network of companies built a shoe factory in the cadastral area of Šimonovany municipality. The newly created settlement for workers carried the name of Baťovany and was part of Šimonovany. With the growth of the factory, so grew the settlement. The whole municipality was renamed to Baťovany in 1948 and given town status. 2017–18 Slovak First Football League
The 2017–18 Slovak First Football League (known as the Slovak Fortuna Liga for sponsorship reasons) was the 25th season of first-tier football league in Slovakia, since its establishment in 1993. MŠK Žilina were the defending champions, after winning their 7th Slovak championship. Format changes Starting from this season, the competition format was changed. The previous 33-match round robin structure was replaced by a regular stage round of 22 games and a playoff round, where 12 teams are divided into two groups: championship group (top-6 teams after regular stage) and relegation group (bottom 6 teams). The playoff round uses a 10-game round robin structure.
