Denis Poyatsika
Denys Poyatsyka ( uk, Денис Пояцика; born April 29, 1985 in Krementschuk, Poltava Oblast) is a Ukrainian amateur boxing, amateur boxer, best known for winning the European title at 201 lbs in 2006. Career Poyatsyka started to box in 1995. In 2004 he was still competing at middleweight then he moved up to light heavy but wasn't the #1 in his country. In 2006 he moved up to heavyweight with limit 201 lbs and won the national title therefore he was sent to the Euro championships. Here he surprised everyone by not only winning the whole tournament but by displaying tremendous punching power, even managing to stop four out of five foes including Elchin Alizade and usually durable Russian top favorite Roman Romanchuk (boxer), Roman Romanchuk. Afterwards he couldn't repeat this triumph, 2007 he was outpointed by Alizade at the world championships in Chicago and didn't medal. Egor Leonidovich Mekhontsev (Егор Леонидович Мехонцев, transliteration ''Egor Leonidovich Mechoncev''; born 14 November 1984), is a Russian professional boxer, who among other achievements, won gold at 2012 London Olympics in the light heavyweight division. Oleksandr Oleksandrovych Usyk ( uk, Олекса́ндр Олекса́ндрович У́сик; born 17 January 1987) is a Ukrainian professional boxer. Roman Romanovich Romanchuk (russian: Роман Романович Романчук; 3 June 1979 – 8 September 2016) was a Ukrainian (until 2000) and Russian (since 2000) amateur boxer. He won silver at super heavyweight during the 2005 World Amateur Boxing Championships and helped the Russian team win the 2005 Boxing World Cup. He also had success as an amateur kickboxer.
