Denis Clemente
Denis Clemente (born April 10, 1986 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player for the Brujos de Guayama of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He played collegiately in the United States with the Kansas State University Wildcats, which he graduated from in 2010. He is a 6'1, 175 pound combo guard. Clemente led Kansas State to the Elite 8 round of the 2010 NCAA Tournament before losing to the Butler Bulldogs. Clemente entered the 2010 NBA Draft but went undrafted, and later played in the NBA Summer League with the Charlotte Bobcats, but was cut prior to training camp. In December 2010 he signed with Greek club Maroussi BC. In September 2011 he signed with Slovak club BK Bemaco SPU Nitra. In 2011 he was selected Rookie of the Year in Puerto Rico's Professional league. He has also had a stint playing professional basketball in Mexico. Diante Maurice Garrett (born November 3, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for Ironi Kiryat Ata of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for Iowa State University. High school career Garrett attended Harold S. Vincent High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a senior in 2006–07, he averaged 15.2 points and 5.3 assists per game, going on to be named the Milwaukee Player of the Year and was named first team all-state by the ''Milwaukee Journal Sentinel''. Roberto Enrique Clemente Walker (; August 18, 1934 – December 31, 1972) was a Puerto Rican professional baseball right fielder who played 18 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Pittsburgh Pirates. After his early death, he was posthumously inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973, becoming both the first Caribbean and the first Latin-American player to be enshrined. Because he died at a young age and had such a historic career, the Hall of Fame changed its rules of eligibility.
