Denis Ciobotariu (born 10 June 1998) is a Romanian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for Liga I club Sepsi OSK Sfântu Gheorghe, Sepsi OSK. Club career In 2017, Ciobotariu signed a contract with FC Dinamo București, Dinamo București. CFR Cluj reached an agreement with Dinamo in January 2020 to buy Ciobotariu for 150,000 euros. The 2018–19 Liga I (also known as Liga 1 Betano for sponsorship reasons) was the 101st season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The 2022–23 Cupa României is the 85th season of the annual Romanian primary football knockout tournament. The winner will qualify for the second qualifying round of the 2023–24 UEFA Europa Conference League. The 2020 Supercupa României was the 22nd edition of the Supercupa României, an annual football super cup contested by the winners of the previous season's Liga I and Cupa României competitions. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the match was postponed until 15 April 2021. The 2021–22 Liga I (also known as Casa Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons) is the 104th season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season started on 15 July 2021 and is scheduled to end in May 2022. It is the sixth to take place since the play-off/play-out rule has been introduced, and the second since the 2005–06 season to feature 16 teams. CFR Cluj are the four-time defending champions.
