Deni Hines
Dohnyale "Deni" Sharon Hines (born 4 September 1970) is an Australian singer who has been releasing music since the early 1990s, with chart success in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Europe. She is the daughter of American-Australian singer Marcia Hines. Hines released her first single with the Australian band Rockmelons with a cover version of the Bill Withers 1971 hit " Ain't No Sunshine". She then went on to release solo material, including the top-five single " It's Alright" and the top-20 album ''Imagination'' (1996), which sold more than 55,000 copies worldwide. A remix album, which included brand-new tracks, became ''Remix Your Imagination''". Her third studio album was titled '' Water for Chocolate'', which was released on 19 August 2006 and features the singles "Water for Chocolate", " Son of a Preacher Man" and "5 Days of Rain". ''The Soul Sessions'' is the fourth studio album by Australian singer Deni Hines. It was released on 18 November 2016 by Bitchin' Productions. The album was released in Japan by P-Vine. The album includes several tracks co-written by Hines—"I Got Your Back", "Runnin'" and the lead single "What About Love". Background and Release Throughout 2013 and 2014, Hines performed around Australia 'The Café Soul Sessions' tour and the idea for a soul-inspired album was born. The Rhythm of Love Tour was the third concert tour by Kylie Minogue, in support of her third studio album '' Rhythm of Love'' (1990). Beginning on 10 February 1991, the tour visited Australia and East Asia. The concerts showcased a more confident Minogue as she began to command control over her image, as well as new songs from the album '' Rhythm of Love'', which offered a then new sound for the Australian pop star. Costumes for the shows, with exception of the opening outfit (a Rigby Peller basque and PVC shorts) were designed by the same team as Kylie's previous two tours and marked the final time she would engage their services. James Lloyd Morrison AM (born 11 November 1962) is an Australian jazz musician. Although his main instrument is trumpet, he has also performed on trombone, tuba, euphonium, flugelhorn, saxophone, clarinet, double bass, guitar, and piano. Wa Wa Nee was a 1980s Australian funk band. Career Singer/songwriter Paul Gray and guitarist Steve Williams formed the band in 1982. They were joined by Geoff Lundren (bass), Elizabeth Lord (keyboards, backing vocals) and Chris Sweeney (drums) and signed with CBS Records in 1985. Peter Blakeley is an Australian white soul/adult contemporary singer and songwriter. Blakeley was a lead singer of the Rockmelons in the mid-1980s.
