Dell Venue
The Dell Venue (previously known as codename Dell Thunder) is a line of Android smartphones and tablets manufactured by Dell. The first Dell Venue was released for both T-Mobile and AT&T in the United States, and for KT in South Korea. It was the second Dell smartphone to be released in the US and features the Dell Stage UI also found on the Dell Streak line of tablets. , it was the only Android device the United States Department of Defense has approved for its employees use. Since then, there have been other approved devices. On June 30, 2016, Dell discontinued the Venue line of products and ended support for currently supported products. The Dell Venue Pro, codenamed Lightning, was a smartphone running the Windows Phone operating system. The phone used the T-Mobile network, but was only available for purchase at Microsoft retail stores or directly from Dell. Dell Streak 5 (previously known as the Dell Mini 5) is a smartphone/ tablet hybrid ("phablet") from Dell that uses the Android operating system. It comes with a capacitive touchscreen and two cameras, a 5 MP one with dual- LED flash on the back and a VGA-resolution one on the front for video calling; both are capable of video. The development was first disclosed in June 2009 and in October 2009 it was known that the tablet was capable of making 3G phone calls. The three buttons at the bottom (or right, when held in its normal landscape mode) are capacitive. The Android buttons used are Home, Menu, and Back.
