''Del mio meglio n. 3'' is a compilation album by Italian singer Mina, released in 1975 by PDU and distributed by EMI Italiana. Overview This is the third compilation of the ''Del mio meglio'' series. It included songs from albums released from 1972 to 1974. Only the songs " Non gioco più" and "La scala buia" were previously released only as non-album single. The album's design, as in previous times, is a Greek cross. The photos were taken during the creation of four color music video intended for the foreign market and shot simultaneously with recordings of the ''Milleluci'' TV show.. Retrieved 18 May 2024. Mina Anna Maria Mazzini (born 25 March 1940) or Mina Anna Quaini (for the Swiss civil registry), known mononymously as Mina, is an Italian-Swiss singer and actress. She was a staple of television variety shows and a dominant figure in Italian pop music from the 1960s to the mid-1970s, known for her three-octave vocal range, the agility of her soprano voice, and her image as an Feminism, emancipated woman. "Waters of March" ( pt, "Águas de março" ) is a Brazilian song composed by Antônio Carlos Jobim (1927–1994) in 1972. Jobim wrote both the Portuguese and English lyrics. The lyrics, originally written in Portuguese, do not tell a story, but rather present a series of images that form a collage; nearly every line starts with "É..." (" tis..."). In 2001, "Águas de março" was named as the all-time best Brazilian song in a poll of more than 200 Brazilian journalists, musicians and other artists conducted by Brazil's leading daily newspaper, ''Folha de S.Paulo''. Bruno Canfora
Bruno Canfora (; 6 November 1924 – 4 August 2017) was an Italian composer, conductor, and music arranger. Life and career Born in Milan, Canfora studied piano at an early age, then studied oboe at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. During the Second World War, he played several concerts with his group in Trieste. After the war, he moved to Turin and became conductor of the Castellino Danze Orchestra. Besides having composed scores for television programs and films, Canfora is known for his work in pop music, particularly for his collaboration with Mina, for whom he composed songs like ''Brava'', ''Un bacio è troppo poco'', ''Mi sei scoppiato dentro il cuore'', ''Sono come tu mi vuoi'' and ''Vorrei che fosse amore'' (the latter two were also translated into other languages like Spanish, the latter also in French). ''Mina®'' is a studio album by Italian singer Mina, released in 1974 by PDU and distributed by EMI Italiana. Originally distributed as a double album along with ''Baby Gate''. The album topped the Italian albums chart. Cover versions Some of the songs of this album were recorded in different languages by Mina during the 1970s. In 1975, she recorded "Due o forse tre", "Nuur" and "Distanze" in Spanish ("Dos o acaso tres", "Nuur", " Dostancias"), as well "Tutto passerà vedrai" ("Todo pasara veras"). The same first three songs were covered in French one year later (as "Deux peut-être trois", "Lumière", "Ensemble"), as well "Caravel" ("La chiromancienne") and "Solo lui" ("Rien que vous"). Roberto Soffici (born 29 October 1946) is an Italian pop singer-songwriter, composer and lyricist. Background Born in Pula, the son of composer and conductor Piero, Soffici enrolled at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, graduating in clarinet, harmony and composition. In the 1970s he started a productive career as a composer, writing songs for Mina, Equipe 84, Nomadi and Ornella Vanoni, among others. From the second half of the seventies he has been also active as a singer-songwriter; his main success was the 1980 song "Io ti voglio tanto bene", which peaked at sixth place at the Italian hit parade.
