Hafizur Rahman Wasif Dehlavi
Hafizur Rahman Wasif Dehlavi (10 February 1910 – 13 March 1987) was an Indian Muslim scholar, jurist, literary critic, and a poet of the Urdu language, who served as the rector of Madrasa Aminia from 1955 to 1979. He participated in the Indian freedom struggle movement and authored books such as ''Adabī bhūl bhulayyān̲'', ''Urdū Masdar Nāmā'' and ''Taz̲kirah-yi Sā'il''. He compiled the religious edicts of his father Kifayatullah Dehlawi as ''Kifāyat al-Mufti'' in nine volumes. Biography Hafizur Rahman Wasif Dehlavi was born on 10 February 1910 in Shahjahanpur. He was the eldest son of Kifayatullah Dehlawi, the Grand Mufti of India. Sir Ali Muhammad Khan Dehlavi was an Indian politician, educationist, Muslim reformist and a leader in the Pakistan Movement and a Muslim reformist. Early life Dehlavi was born in 1876, to Khan Bahadur Khan. Dehlavi himself had six sons and one daughter. Saadullah Khan Dehlavi, Samiullah Khan Dehlavi, Asadullah Khan Dehlavi, Habibullah Khan Dehlavi, Sikandaruallh Khan Dehlavi, Zareena Khanum Dehlavi and Sultan Ahmed Khan Dehlavi. Hossein Dehlavi ( fa, حسین دهلوی) (September 30, 1927 – October 15, 2019) was an Iranian peoples, Iranian composer. Biography Hossein Dehlavi was born in 1927 in Tehran, Iran and started music with his father Moezeddin Emami who was a pupil of master Ali-Akbar Shahnazi. Dehlavi studied composition at the Tehran Conservatory of Music with Hossein Nassehi and Heimo Tauber. He studied Persian music with Abolhasan Saba and, from 1957 to 1967, was the principal Conducting, conductor of the Persian Fine Arts Administration Orchestra, also known as Saba Orchestra. Ghulam Ali Dehlavi
Shah Abdullah alias Shah Ghulam Ali Dehlavi (1743–1824, Urdu:) was a Sufi Shaykh in Delhi during the early 19th century. He was a master of the Naqshbandi tradition and in other Sufi orders such as Chishti. Biography He was born in 1156 AH (1743 C.E.) in Patiala, Punjab, in present-day India. His father was Shah Abdul-Latif, a scholar and Sufi shaykh belonging to the Qadri tariqah. It is reported in his biographies that his father had a dream before his birth in which he saw Sayyadna Ali, who told him to name the baby on his name (''Ali''). After he grew up, he modified his own name to be Ghulam Ali (literally meaning slave of Ali, a common name in Indian Muslims today). Ahmad Saeed Dehlavi (also known as Sahbān al-Hind; 1888 – 4 December 1959) was an Indian Muslim scholar and Indian freedom struggle, freedom struggle activist who served as the first general secretary and the fifth president of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind. Saidulla Khan Dehlavi
Saidulla Khan Dehlavi was a Pakistani career diplomat. Career He was a senior member of the Pakistan Foreign Service when he retired in 2001 as Ambassador to the European Union. He served as Pakistan's Ambassador to France and as Permanent Delegate to UNESCO. He also served as Ambassador to Switzerland, the Vatican, Yugoslavia, Albania and Ireland. Anand Mohan Zutshi Gulzar Dehlavi (Urdu: ; hi, आनंद मोहन जुत्शी गुलजार देहलवी) (7 July 1926 – 12 June 2020) was an Indian Urdu poet, scholar, and journalist. Born in old Delhi's Gali Kashmeerian.
