''DEGENESIS'' is a fictional setting created by Christian Günther and Marko Djurdjević, Marko Djurdjevic and that is currently published by SIXMOREVODKA. The only current product currently in existence set in DEGENESIS is a pen-and-paper role-playing game. DEGENESIS was created as an Indie game, indie project, supported by :de:Projekt Odyssee, Projekt Odyssee. It was originally produced and distributed in 2004 by Sighpress-Verlag. Since 2014, the second and current edition (''DEGENESIS: Rebirth'') was produced and distributed by SIXMOREVODKA. Since April 2020 all of its materials are available to download online for free to play, free. On October 2021 SIXMOREVODKA announced the end of the RPG product line. In June 2022, along with the relaunch of the company's website, new announcements were made including a teaser for an unspecified product named "The Clan Wars", which is a direct reference to events in the DEGENESIS lore, presumably resuming the development of products within t ...

Marko Djurdjević
Marko Djurdjević (born January 23, 1979) is a German illustrator and concept artist of Serbian descent, best known for his character designs. He works for Marvel Comics, and has produced a large body of cover art, as well as promotional designs, character concepts, and interior artwork. He lives in Berlin with his wife, Jelena Kevic Djurdjevic, who is also an artist and illustrator. Early life and work Djurdjević was born in Koblenz, West Germany. As a child, he exhibited a talent for drawing, inspired by cartoons such as He-Man. When Marko was 11, he discovered Burne Hogarth's book ''Dynamic Anatomy'' (1958), a major turning point in his self-education. Studying the guide for two years, Djurdjević then put the book away and added a layer of realism to his drawings. He used what he learned from Hogarth as a foundation, while pulling ideas from his everyday life observations. An indie game, short for independent video game, is a video game typically created by individuals or smaller development teams without the financial and technical support of a large game publisher, in contrast to most "AAA" (triple-A) games. However, the "indie" term may apply to other scenarios where the development of the game has some measure of independence from a publisher even if a publisher helps fund and distribute a game, such as creative freedom.
