Deependra Negi
Deependra Singh Negi (born 20 November 1998) is an Indian professional footballer who is playing as a midfielder for Hyderabad FC. He was the captain of the India U17 National Team. Career Born in Uttarakhand, Negi began his career with the AIFF Elite Academy before moving to Spain to attend trials with various Spanish clubs, including Gimnàstic de Tarragona in 2017. In September 2016, it was announced that Negi had signed with CF Reus of the Segunda División. Kerala Blasters On 9 December 2017 it was announced that Negi had returned to India to sign with the Kerala Blasters of the Indian Super League. He made his professional debut for the club on 27 January 2018 against Delhi Dynamos. The India national under-20 football team, also known as India Under-20s or India U20(s), represents India at all under-20 football tournaments. They act as the main feeder team for the India national under-23 football team and the senior India national football team. This team is for Indian players aged under 19 at the start of the calendar year in which a two-year AFC U-19 Championship campaign begins, and as such, some players can remain with the squad until the age of 21. 2017–18 Kerala Blasters FC Season
The 2017–18 season was the fourth season in Kerala Blasters FC's existence, as well as their fourth season in Indian Super League. The club finished the Indian Super League points table in the 6th place, thus missing out the play-offs. The Blasters also made their debut in the inaugural edition of Super Cup during the season, being eliminated in the first round after losing against NEROCA. Following the departure of Steve Coppell to the new side Jamshedpur, Kerala Blasters announced the signing of René Meulensteen as their new head coach on 14 July 2017.
