Deep Blue (Louise Patricia Crane Album)
''Deep Blue'' is the debut solo album by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Louise Patricia Crane, released on 15 May 2020 by Peculiar Doll Records. The album project began following the recording of The Eden House's third studio album ''Songs for the Broken Ones'' in 2017, in which Crane first met founding member and producer Stephen Carey. For the album, Crane brought in progressive rock veterans Jakko Jakszyk (King Crimson) and Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull (band), Jethro Tull), the first time the pair have performed together. The front cover is a photograph taken by Irish artist Jim Fitzpatrick (artist), Jim Fitzpatrick, known for creating album covers for the band Thin Lizzy and his iconic two-tone portrait of Che Guevara created in 1968. Louise Patricia Crane
Louise Patricia Crane (born 8 December 1984) is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter and visual artist. She is known for her unique blend of romantic escapism and dreamlike progressive rock, leading to music journalist Dom Lawson dubbing her "The new queen of psychedelic prog". Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Crane began her career in music fronting gothic rock band Solemn Novena in 2006, with whom she gained a small following and performed on both of their releases. In 2016 she joined The Eden House and debuted on their 2017 album ''Songs for the Broken Ones''. Jakko Jakszyk
Michael "Jakko" Jakszyk (born Michael Lee Curran, 8 June 1958) is an English musician, record producer, and actor. He has released several solo albums as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist and has been the lead singer for King Crimson since 2013. His work has been variously credited to "Jakko", "Jakko Jakszyk", and "Jakko M. Jakszyk". Before joining King Crimson, he led bands for over thirty years, including 64 Spoons, Dizrhythmia, 21st Century Schizoid Band, Jakszyk Fripp Collins, and Rapid Eye Movement. He was a member of Level 42, the Lodge, and the Tangent and has collaborated with Tom Robinson, Peter Blegvad, Danny Thompson, Gavin Harrison, Warren Harry, Pandit Dinesh, and Dave Stewart. Jim Fitzpatrick (artist)
Jim Fitzpatrick (born James Fitzpatrick in 1944) is an Irish artist. He is best known for elaborately detailed work inspired by the Irish Celtic artistic tradition. However, his most famous single piece is a two-tone portrait of Che Guevara created in 1968, based on a photo by Alberto Korda. Early life Jim Fitzpatrick was born in December 1944 to James and Elizabeth Fitzpatrick (née O'Connor). His parents had married in the north Dublin suburb of Cabra in June 1943. During a period of childhood sickness, Fitzpatrick read and drew in bed, as well as his mother and great-aunt telling him stories of the Tuatha Dé Danann, Cú Chulainn and Fionn MacCumhaill. Synesthesia (American English) or synaesthesia (British English) is a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. Chromesthesia or sound-to-color synesthesia is a type of synesthesia in which sound involuntarily evokes an experience of color, shape, and movement. Individuals with sound-color synesthesia are consciously aware of their synesthetic color associations/perceptions in daily life. Danny Thompson
Daniel Henry Edward Thompson (born 4 April 1939) is an English multi-instrumentalist best known as a double bassist. He has had a long musical career playing with a large variety of other musicians, particularly Richard Thompson and John Martyn.
