Bushism
Bushisms are unconventional statements, phrases, pronunciations, possible Freudian slips, malapropisms, as well as semantic or linguistic errors in the public speaking of former President of the United States George W. Bush. The term ''Bushism'' has become part of popular folklore and is the basis of a number of websites and published books. It is often used to caricature the former president. Common characteristics include malapropisms, the creation of neologisms, spoonerisms, stunt words and ungrammatical subject–verb agreement. Discussion Bush's use of the English language in formal and public speeches has spawned several books that document the statements. A poem entitled " Make the Pie Higher", composed entirely of Bushisms, was compiled by cartoonist Richard Thompson. The ''New York Post'' (''NY Post'') is a conservative daily tabloid newspaper published in New York City. In computability theory, a decider is a Turing machine that halts for every input. A decider is also called a total Turing machineKozen, 1997 as it represents a total function. Because it always halts, such a machine is able to decide whether a given string is a member of a formal language. The class of languages which can be decided by such machines is the set of recursive languages. Given an arbitrary Turing machine, determining whether it is a decider is an undecidable problem. This is a variant of the halting problem, which asks for whether a Turing machine halts on a specific input.
