Debbie Webster
In 1984, several new characters made their debuts on ''Coronation Street'', including Bill Webster and his daughter Debbie Webster. Bill Webster Debbie Webster Debbie Webster, played by Sue Devaney, is the daughter of Bill Webster, and younger sister of Kevin Webster. She made her first on screen appearance on 11 June 1984. Debbie left six months later on 9 January 1985. Devaney returned to the role in 2019 for five episodes, following a 34-year absence. On 28 July 2020, it was announced that Devaney would return again in 2020 on a permanent basis. Debbie is Kevin's younger sister and arrives not long after her brother's arrival. ''Coronation Street'' is an English soap opera created by Granada Television and shown on ITV since 9 December 1960. Bill Webster
Bill Webster is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera, '' Coronation Street'', played by Peter Armitage. The character first appeared onscreen during the episode airing on 6 February 1984 and remained in the show until 1985 when Armitage decided to leave. The character was reintroduced in 1995 but he was again written out two years later. Armitage returned once again in 2006 and appeared frequently until late-April 2010 when the character suddenly appeared only a recurring basis. It was reported in 2011 that Bill was going to be axed completely, however, he continued to make appearances on a recurring basis. His last appearance was broadcast on 29 December 2011, where Bill was in attendance at youngest granddaughter Sophie's wedding to her fiancée Sian Powers. Sue Devaney (born Susan Barber, 2 July 1967) is an English actress. Her roles include Debbie Webster in ''Coronation Street'', Rita in ''Jonny Briggs'', Liz Harker in ''Casualty'' and Jane in ''Dinnerladies''. Kevin Webster is a Character (arts), fictional character from the Television in the United Kingdom, British ITV (TV network), ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street''. Portrayed by Michael Le Vell, the character first appeared on-screen during the episode airing on 19 October 1983. Le Vell was suspended from the soap in February 2013 due to allegations of sexual offences, with scenes he had already filmed cut from broadcast. Rosie Webster is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street''. She was born on-screen during the episode broadcast on 24 December 1990. She was played by Emma Collinge from 1990 until 27 December 1999. Helen Flanagan took over the role on 23 January 2000. Flanagan took a three-month break in the summer of 2011 and returned on 26 September 2011.
