Dear And The Headlights
Dear and the Headlights was an American indie rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, formed in 2005. They released two widely known demos, recorded by future bassist Chuckie Duff, before their debut album was released. These demos included five songs re-recorded for the album. The most notable change to the songs upon re-recording was the drop from standard guitar tuning to E-flat standard tuning. Two songs heard on their purevolume.com page, recorded acoustic on a local radio show, also later appeared on '' Small Steps, Heavy Hooves''. ''Small Steps, Heavy Hooves'', the band's debut album, was released on February 6, 2007 on Equal Vision Records. Lollapalooza (Lolla) is an annual American four-day music festival held in Grant Park in Chicago. Lovedrug is an American alternative/indie rock band formed in Alliance, Ohio, United States, in 2002 by singer/guitarist Michael Shepard. History Lovedrug released their first EP, the ''Lovedrug'' EP, with the follow-up EP, the ''Rocknroll'' EP, coming in mid-2004. After signing to The Militia Group, an indie-rock label, the band released their first full-length ''Pretend You're Alive'' on July 27, 2004. The album was produced by Tim Patalan, and featured dark, guitar-driven art rock. Boys Night Out was a Canadian emo/post-hardcore band from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. History The band formed in 2001 when Connor Lovat-Fraser (lead vocalist, guitar) and Jeff Davis (lead guitar, piano) started collaborating on songs. They were joined by Dave Costa (vocals, bass), Chris Danner (drums), and Rob Pasalic (guitar, vocals) and, that year, independently released the four-song EP ''You Are My Canvas'', which was influenced by fellow Burlington Hardcore punk, hardcore act Grade (band), Grade.
