Dear Jack (band)
Follya, previously known as Dear Jack, is an Italian pop rock band formed in 2012. They ended up second in the thirteenth edition of the Italian talent show ''Amici di Maria De Filippi'' and debuted in 2014 with the album ''Domani è un altro film (prima parte)'', which peaked at number 1 of the FIMI's album chart and was certified double platinum in Italy. They participated twice at the Sanremo Music Festival in 2015, with the song "Il mondo esplode tranne noi", and in 2016, with the song "Mezzo respiro". In 2015, lead singer Alessio Bernabei left the band to pursue a solo career, and was replaced by Leiner Reflessi (2015-2017) and by guitarist Lorenzo Cantarini (since 2017). In 2022, the band reunited under the front man Alessio Bernabei, without Cantarini, and changed their name to Follya. Alessio Bernabei (born September 4, 1992) is an Italian singer. Early life Bernabei was born in Tarquinia. He formed his first band at the age of 14. Dear Jack In 2012, Bernabei founded the band Dear Jack with Francesco Pierozzi, Lorenzo Cantarini, Alessandro Presti and Riccardo Ruiu. In 2015, he departed the band to start a solo career. Solo career After departing Dear Jack in 2015, Bernabei signed a contract with Warner Music Italy. ''Amici'' (initially called ''Saranno Famosi'') is an Italian talent show. Created by Maria De Filippi, the show began in 2001 and has since aired annually. The show is produced by Fascino P.G.T. s.r.l. (owned by Maria De Filippi) and is broadcast on Canale 5. The Sanremo Music Festival 2015 (''65° Festival della Canzone Italiana di Sanremo 2015'') was the 65th annual Sanremo Music Festival, a television song contest held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, Liguria, between 10 and 14 February 2015 and broadcast by Rai 1.
