Deanna Michaux
Deanna Michaux (born April 8, 1970 in North Carolina) is a nationally syndicated columnist, author and radio host. Michaux is the author of the advice column and radio show "Ask Deanna!". She appeared in the 2006 race relations documentary Black.White. with Ice Cube on the F/X channel. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a historic landmark which consists of more than 2,700 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood, California. Oscar Micheaux
Oscar Devereaux Micheaux (; January 2, 1884 – March 25, 1951) was an author, film director and independent producer of more than 44 films. Although the short-lived Lincoln Motion Picture Company was the first movie company owned and controlled by black filmmakers, Micheaux is regarded as the first major African-American feature filmmaker, a prominent producer of race films, and has been described as "the most successful African-American filmmaker of the first half of the 20th century".
