Dead Poetic is an American rock band formed in Dayton, Ohio in 1997. Their most recent lineup consisted of vocalist Brandon Rike, guitarist Zach Miles, and drummer Jesse Sprinkle. They released three albums and a greatest hits album, '' The Finest'', on Tooth & Nail Records. The band lapsed into inactivity in 2007 due to internal strife and inability to tour, though Rike has stated that the band plans to record a fourth album. The band formed in their local Church, and each taught themselves. Their first show was at the three teenagers' Middle School's annual "Talent Show." Brandon Rike
Brandon Travis Rike (born January 6, 1983) is a graphic designer and singer who currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. He was a founding member and the lead vocalist of rock band Dead Poetic from their formation in 1997 until their indefinite hiatus in 2007. He has since worked with various bands designing artwork, notably the cover for the Twenty One Pilots albums ''Trench'' (2018) and ''Scaled and Icy'' (2021). Dead Poetic Brandon Rike has been in the band Dead Poetic for several years. The band was formed at a local church in 1997. Rike has designed all of the band's t-shirts. Dead Poetic has released three albums and one ''Best of'' album. In 2006, the band released their final record, ''Vices''. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is an American rock band that was formed in Middleburg, Florida, in 2003. The band has released five studio albums to date. The current members are Ronnie Winter (lead vocals), Joey Westwood (bass), Josh Burke (lead guitar), Randy Winter (rhythm guitar), Daniel Resnick (keys) and John Espy (drums). Emo (music)
Emo is a rock music genre characterized by emotional, often confessional lyrics. Emery is an American post-hardcore band formed in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in 2001 by Toby Morrell, Devin Shelton, Matt Carter, Josh Head, Joel Green, and Seth Studley. The band relocated to Seattle in order to reach a more music-centered scene.
