Dead Low Tide
Dead Low Tide was a short-lived rock band from Seattle, Washington. It featured singer Spencer Moody, guitarist Nate Manny, bassist Mike Kunka, and drummer Coady Willis. History After the breakup of the Murder City Devils in 2001, ex-members Moody, Manny, and Willis began to work on a new project, along with ex-godheadSilo bassist Kunka. In 2002 they put out a self-released debut EP, and embarked on a U.S. tour with the Melvins. That same year they began recording their eponymously titled, full-length album, which was not released until after the band's breakup in 2003. ''Crawdaddy'' was an American rock music magazine launched in 1966. It was created by Paul Williams, a Swarthmore College student at the time, in response to the increasing sophistication and cultural influence of popular music. The magazine was named after the Crawdaddy Club in London and published during its early years as ''Crawdaddy!'' (with an exclamation point). Coady Willis
Coady Willis is an American drummer and a member of Big Business, High on Fire, White Shit, and the Melvins. He previously played in the bands Dead Low Tide, Broadcast Oblivion, and The Murder City Devils. Willis and Big Business bandmate Jared Warren both appear on the Melvins' albums '' (A) Senile Animal'', '' Nude with Boots'' and '' The Bride Screamed Murder'' and have officially been members of the band since moving to Los Angeles in January 2006. Mike Kunka
Mike Kunka is an American bass guitarist best known as a member of the drone metal group godheadSilo. He has also been a member of the groups Dead Low Tide and Enemymine, both based out of Washington state. Biography Michael Andrew Kunka founded godheadSilo in 1991 with Phil Leitch on guitar and Dan Haugh on drums. Leitch departed from the band after their first show, leaving Kunka and Haugh to continue performing as a duo. After relocating to Olympia they recorded and released their debut '' The Scientific Supercake L.P.'' in 1994 for indie label Kill Rock Stars. After releasing two more albums, ''Skyward in Triumph'' in 1996 and ''Share the Fantasy'' in 1998, the band went on hiatus so its member could pursue other projects. Spencer Moody
Spencer Moody is the American vocalist for Seattle-based noise rock group Triumph of Lethargy Skinned Alive to Death. He was the lead vocalist for the Murder City Devils until their breakup in 2001, and returned to the band when they reformed in 2006. In addition to his musical endeavors, Moody also owned and operated a self-proclaimed "junk shop" called The Anne Bonny in Seattle, which closed in 2010. The shop took its name from one of the few well-documented female pirates.
