Leif Sinding
Leif Sinding (19 November 1895 – 13 May 1985) was a Norwegian film director and journalist. He worked for the newspapers ''Verdens Gang'', ''Aftenposten'', and ''Morgenbladet''. Among his silent films are ''Himmeluret'' from 1925, based on Gabriel Scott's comedy, and ''Fjeldeventyret'' from 1926. He directed the film ''Bra mennesker'' (1937), based on a play by Oskar Braaten, and the films ''De vergeløse'' (1939) and ''Tante Pose'' (1940), both based on novels by Gabriel Scott. In 1941 he directed the comedy '' Kjærlighet og vennskap''. During the German occupation of Norway Sinding collaborated with the Axis forces, was a member of Nasjonal Samling, and was sentenced to four years forced labour after the war. Gabriel Scott
Gabriel Scott (8 March 1874 – 9 July 1958) was a Norwegian poet, novelist, playwright and children's writer. Personal life Gabriel Scott Jensen was born in Leith in Scotland as the son of sailors' priest Svend Holst Jensen and his wife writer and composer Caroline Mathilde Schytte. The name Scott was originally a first name, and he was named after both Scotland and the writer Walter Scott. He moved to Norway when he was seven years old, his father being a parish priest in Høvåg. In 1901, Scott married Ellen Johansen (1871–1914), but this marriage was dissolved in 1912. In 1915, he married secondly Dagmar Marie Jensen, but in 1918 this marriage also ended in divorce. Finally, in 1918, he married Birgit Gabrielsen (1897–1981). He died in Arendal in 1958. Georg Lüddeckens Alexander Richter (27 December 1915 – 10 May 1972) was a German-born Norwegian actor. Personal life Richter was born in Berlin to German actor Georg Alexander and Norwegian actress Aud Egede-Nissen. His stepfather was the actor Paul Richter. Karin Meyer (née ''Karin Eugenea Johansson'', January 9, 1897 – August 9, 1963) was a Swedish–Norwegian actress. Meyer was born in Dalarna, Sweden. She performed at the National Theater in Oslo from 1922 to 1943.
