De Verraders
''De Verraders'' (Dutch for: ''The Traitors'') is a Dutch television show broadcast by RTL 4 which premiered in 2021. The format of the show is similar to the party game ''Mafia'' and it takes place at and around Castle Erenstein in Kerkrade, Netherlands. The show is presented by Tijl Beckand. Overview In the show, three out of eighteen contestants take on the role of 'Verrader' (Traitor/Betrayer) and all other contestants take on the role of 'Getrouwe' (Faithful). The faithful don't know who the traitors are but viewers of the show are made aware in the first episode. Each night, the traitors gather in secret to decide whom they wish to eliminate from the game; this contestant is said to have been killed and doesn't show up at the next day's morning breakfast. In each episode, the contestants take part in a challenge to earn silver bars which can be won in the end. Tijl Beckand
Tijl Beckand (born 30 July 1974) is a Dutch television presenter and comedian. He is known as one of the comedians in the television show ''De Lama's'' together with Ruben Nicolai, Ruben van der Meer and Jeroen van Koningsbrugge. He also presents the television show ''De Verraders''. Career In 2010, he was one of the team captains in the television show ''Gehaktdag''. Rodger Corser (born 28 February 1973) is an Australian actor. Hindrik Harmannus Arnoldus "Henk" Grol (born 14 April 1985 in Veendam) is a retired Dutch judoka. Judo career Grol competed in the 2007 European Judo Championships in Belgrade, Serbia in the men's under 90 kg, as a replacement for Mark Huizinga, who cancelled last minute due to personal problems.
