Sidney Carroll Miller (born September 6, 1955) is an American politician from Stephenville, Texas. He is the Texas Agriculture Commissioner, serving since January 2015. He is a Republican. From 2001 to 2013, Miller served in the Texas House of Representatives for District 59 in central Texas, being unseated in the Republican runoff election held on July 31, 2012, by physician J. D. Cecil Paul "Tex" Irvin (October 9, 1906 – February 11, 1978) was an American football tackle who played five seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Providence Steam Roller and New York Giants. He first enrolled at the Schreiner Institute before transferring to Davis & Elkins College. He was also nicknamed "Honk".
