De Lama's
De Lama's (translation: The Llamas) is a Dutch television show made by BNN and first aired on 26 June 2004. It is an adaptation of the Channel 4 show ''Whose Line is it Anyway?''. Patrick Lodiers hosts the show, which contains both well-known and more obscure elements of theatresports. The most important of these is improvisation. De Lama's consist of the following comedians: Ruben Nicolai, Tijl Beckand, Ruben van der Meer and Jeroen van Koningsbrugge. Jandino Asporaat, Ad-Just Bouwman, Sara Kroos, Arie Koomen, Kristel Zweers and Martijn Oosterhuis are ex-''Lama's''. Unlike the British and American series, every episode of De Lama's features a Guest Llama (''Gast Lama''), a well-known Dutch (or Belgian) person who offers suggestions for games and always joins the regulars for one or two games at the end. Dan Patterson
Dan Patterson (born March 1960) is a British television producer and writer, responsible for the production of both the British and American incarnations of the improvisation show ''Whose Line Is It Anyway?'' and the British satirical panel show ''Mock the Week'' with writing partner Mark Leveson. He has also written for episodes of both shows. He co-created ''Whose Line Is It Anyway?'' alongside Mark Leveson, initially on BBC radio before moving with it to Channel 4, and then onward to ABC. In 2004, he established Angst Productions, which is responsible for ''Mock the Week''. In October 2013, the play ''The Duck House'', a farcical political satire which he wrote alongside '' Have I Got News for You'' writer Colin Swash, embarked on a five-week tour before transferring to the Vaudeville Theatre in London's West End through Spring 2014. Improvisation is the activity of making or doing something not planned beforehand, using whatever can be found. Drew Carey's Green Screen Show
''Drew Carey's Green Screen Show'' is an American improvisational comedy television series that aired in the fall of 2004 on The WB, and the fall of 2005 on Comedy Central. The show was hosted by Drew Carey, and was somewhat a follow-up to the show he formerly hosted, ''Whose Line Is It Anyway?''. The distinguishing feature of the show was that the improv games were performed in front of a "green screen" (similar to the "Newsflash" game from ''Whose Line?''), with animation, music and sound effects inserted in post-production. The show was otherwise very similar to ''Whose Line?'' and featured many of the same performers and games. On an appearance on ''Late Night with Conan O'Brien'' when "Green Screen" premiered, Carey claimed that he got the idea during the ''Whose Line?'' game "Moving people" when he thought how funny it would be if you could not see the people manipulating the players. Jandino Asporaat
Jandino Jullian Asporaat (born 9 January 1981) is a Curaçaoan-Dutch stand-up comedian, actor, producer, writer, and voice actor. Early life Asporaat was born in Willemstad, Curaçao in the former Netherlands Antilles where he grew up in the Buena Vista neighborhood together with his mother, three brothers and sister. His father lived elsewhere on the island with a different woman and paid no alimony. In 1992 he relocated to the Netherlands with his family, moving to Rotterdam, South Holland at age 11, where they settled in the IJsselmonde, Rotterdam, IJsselmonde neighborhood on the city's south side, while his oldest brother remained on Curaçao. After completing his studies, Asporaat plied his trade as a painter before focusing on a career in stand-up comedy. Improvisational theatre, often called improvisation or improv, is the form of theatre, often comedy, in which most or all of what is performed is unplanned or unscripted: created spontaneously by the performers.
