DeRo United Futbol Academy
DeRo TFC (formerly DeRo United Futbol Academy) is Canadian soccer academy founded in 2012 by former Canadian professional soccer player Dwayne De Rosario based in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario. They previously fielded a Canadian women's semi-professional soccer club that played in the League1 Ontario women's division. History The academy was founded in 2012 by Dwayne De Rosario to foster development for youth soccer players of both genders. In 2018, they added a semi-professional team in the women's division of League1 Ontario with the core of their roster featuring many U21, university varsity, and post-university players of high quality. Peyvand Mossavat was named the semi-pro team's head coach. They defeated Durham United FA 2–0 on April 27 in their debut league match. 2020 Women's League1 Ontario Season
The 2020 Women's League1 Ontario season was supposed to be the sixth season of play for League1 Ontario (L1O), a Division 3 women's soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. On March 20, 2020, L1O postponed the start of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On June 6, 2020, the league announced the cancellation of the "summer season" while also mentioning the possibility of returning in September 2020 for a shortened "fall season", though this was later ruled out. Nicole Dmitrievna Kozlova ( uk, Ніколь Дмитрівна Козлова; born 8 July 2000) is a footballer who plays as a forward for HB Køge. Born in Canada, she represents the Ukraine women's national team. The 2018 League1 Ontario season was the fourth season of play for the Women's Division of League1 Ontario, a Division 3 semi-professional soccer league in the Canadian soccer pyramid and the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of Ontario. Toronto FC Academy, also known as TFC Academy, is the youth academy and development system of Canadian Major League Soccer club Toronto FC. The academy has divisions from U14 to U19 and includes over 110 young players. The senior academy team is known as Toronto FC III.
