Days Of Terror
Days of Terror (Egyptian Arabic: ''أيام'' ''الرعب'' translit. Ayam Al-Ro'ab) is a 1988 Egyptian action-thriller film written by Gamal Al-Ghitani and directed by Said Marzouk. It stars Salah Zulfikar, Mahmoud Yassin and Mervat Amin. Plot El Hag Abdel Rahim is a religious rich seller living in Al Hussain neighborhood who has one daughter, Salwa. She loves Mahrous, the son of migrant who escaped to Cairo 20 years ago for escaping from revenge, is working in an Egyptian Museum. When planning to get married he receives the news that Aweidah has been released from prison and is out to get revenge on him. Mahrous memories come flooding back and fear returns to his life turning him into a paranoid man. He quits his job and leaves the whole world around him to escape from his inevitable fate. Zahrat El-Ola
Zahrat El-Ola (10 June 1934 – 18 December 2013) was an Egyptian actress, and was the second wife of Salah Zulfikar. She was famous for her roles in light comedies and drama in the 1950s and 1960s. She is one of the iconic actresses in Egypt. El-Ola was prolific in golden age of Egyptian cinema. Her first appearance in film was in Mahmoud Zulfikar's ''My Father Deceived Me'' (1951), and her last film was ''Ard Ard'' (1998). Career After obtaining a diploma from the Institute of Dramatic Arts, she moved with her family to Mahalla al-Kubra and then to Cairo where she was apprenticed by Youssef Wahbi and worked in his theater, then went to work in the cinema. Gamal Al-Ghitani
Gamal al-Ghitani, ( ar, جمال الغيطانى, ; 9 May 1945 – 18 October 2015) was an Egyptian author of historical and political novels and cultural and political commentaries and was the editor-in-chief of the literary periodical ''Akhbar Al-Adab'' ("Cultural News") till 2011. Life and works Gamal al-Ghitani was born in Juhaynah, Sohag Governorate in Upper Egypt and moved with his family to Cairo as a child. He began writing at a young age and had his first short story published when he was only 14. He was originally trained to be a carpet designer and received his diploma in 1962. He continued to write on the side and was imprisoned from October 1966 through March 1967 for his critical commentary on the regime of Gamal Abd el-Nasser. In 1969 he switched careers and became a journalist for the Egyptian newspaper ''Akhbar El Yom'' ("The Day's News").
