Nam Da-won (; born April 16, 1997), known mononymously as Dawon, is a South Korean singer and actress signed under Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment. She is a member of the South Korean-Chinese girl group WJSN. Early life Dawon was born on April 16, 1997. She graduated from Chungdam High School. Career Pre-debut Dawon appeared on the second season of the South Korean reality television competition show ''K-pop Star 2'', which aired in 2012. She joined Starship Entertainment as a trainee sometime afterwards. 2016–present: Debut with WJSN and solo activities On February 25, 2016, made her debut with WJSN with their first EP, '' Would You Like?'', and its lead singles, "Mo Mo Mo" and "Catch Me". The Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) is a South Korean non-profit copyright collective for musical works, administering public performance and broadcasting rights, and mechanical recording and reproduction rights. Founded in 1964, it is the second collective rights management organization for musical works in Asia, after JASRAC in Japan. It is also one of the largest in Asia, with over 40,000 members. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. ''Sequence'' is the first single album by South Korean girl group WJSN. It was released on July 5, 2022, by Starship Entertainment and distributed by Kakao Entertainment, almost 16 months after the group's latest release ''Unnatural''. Marketed as a special single-album, the single album consists of 4 tracks, including " Last Sequence", serving as its lead single. Background and release From March to June 2022, WJSN participated in the Mnet's reality-competition program '' Queendom 2'', and finished as the winner.
